
The Master of Divinity (M.Div.) program is open to qualified students with a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent. It is the preferred graduate degree program for those preparing for ordination in the Orthodox Church. It is also appropriate for persons interested in all forms of ministry in church and society.
The Master of Theological Studies (M.T.S.) is a two-year academic degree program providing students with a general Orthodox Christian theological education. A non-ministerial degree, the M.T.S. is oriented toward providing sound graduate education in the various disciplines of Orthodox theology for students who may wish to prepare themselves for further study and research or for those interested in service in the church outside of the ordained ministry. The program is also designed for students seeking personal and professional enrichment.
The Master of Theology (Th.M.) program is a one-year degree program. It is intended for students with a Master of Divinity degree (M.Div.) or its equivalent. Its primary goal is to provide scholarly concentration in a particular area of theology for those who wish to pursue advanced theological studies within an Eastern Orthodox ethos.
