Muslim and Christian Leaders Meet at Yale for Historic Interfaith Conference

New Haven, Conn. - More than 100 religious leaders, including some of the world's most eminent Muslim and Christian scholars and clerics, will gather at Yale University July 28 -31 to promote understanding between the two faiths, whose members comprise more than half the world's population.

Demetrios S. Katos, assistant professor of religious studies at Hellenic College & Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, is one of seven scholars from throughout the United States to be named a Henry Luce III Fellow in Theology for 2008-2009. The award is one of the premier fellowships for theological scholarship.
